  • Public launch release. XypherSEO is now available on the WordPress plugin directory, with Free, Pro and Ultimate plans live.
  • AECS scoring now updates live as you type, so the score reflects the page in front of you rather than the last time you saved.
  • Hardened licence validation and closed the issues raised in a full pre-launch security audit.

  • Improved AECS scoring accuracy so pillar scores update reliably as you edit, rather than occasionally freezing on a stale value.

  • Added the AI Visibility controls: allow or block individual AI crawlers, and see a log of which bots actually visited and what they read.
  • Added llms.txt generation, so you can tell AI engines what your site is about and which pages matter.

  • Introduced the redirect manager and 404 monitor, so broken and moved pages can be fixed without a second plugin.
  • Site audit now returns a prioritized list rather than an undifferentiated dump of warnings.

  • Added AI Generation Studio with bring-your-own Anthropic key: titles, meta, outlines, FAQs, TL;DR blocks and full drafts, generated in the editor.
  • No AI request is ever made without your key, so cost and output stay entirely under your control.
v1.4 March 2026
  • Shipped the AECS analyzer: a three-engine, ninety-point score across Answer, Entity, Cluster, and Structure, running live in the editor.
  • Every deduction now explains what is wrong and how to fix it, instead of just showing a number.

This page lists changes that affect how you use the plugin: new capabilities, fixes to things that were genuinely broken, and anything touching security or licensing. It does not list refactors, internal cleanups, or dependency bumps, because those are our problem and not yours.
